Before the advent of Evernode, a significant challenge in hosting applications on the XRPL was the lack of consensus. The "Codius problem", as it came to be known, hindered the seamless deployment of applications across various hosts.

Addressing consensus: "HotPocket", the underlying technology behind Evernode's consensus mechanism, ensures that transactions and operations within the Evernode network are validated and agreed upon.

Addressing Decentralization with Sashimono: Evernode introduces the Sashimono Daemon, which provides a solution for hosts to offer secure hosting services to multiple dApp instances. The Sashimono Daemon ensures that each dApp instance operates within a secure, isolated environment known as a "jail." These jails keep each instance separate from all others and from the host itself, ensuring data privacy and security. With the Sashimono Daemon, hosts can effortlessly provide hosting services to multiple dApps, creating a more efficient and scalable decentralized hosting infrastructure.

Addressing Decentralization with Xahau: In the Evernode ecosystem, the registration and coordination of hosts are facilitated by a Hook-enabled Account on the Xahau Network. It issues and redeems Registration NFTs, which play a crucial role in the decentralization of Evernode. By combining the Hook-enabled Account, the Xahau Network, and the issuance of Registration NFTs, Evernode fosters a ledger where hosts are registered and rewarded in a manner that is accountable, transparent, and not reliant on any centralized entity.

By leveraging the XRPL side-chain Xahau, providing consensus via HotPocket, and supporting decentralized hosting with Sashimono, Evernode promises to revolutionize industries and unlock new possibilities on the XRPL.
